Going down to Jamaica Plain???

I just wanted to tell to all who this is relevant, our very own beloved Jonee Earthquake Band and Suburban Showdown have got some shows coming up that they would like to see all of your faces at.
Both are at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain, MA. Jonee's is this coming Sunday and on the following Saturday, Suburban Showdown will be playing there as well. I can't tell you much about the other bands, but you can get a hold of Tino from S.S. and I'm sure he could tell you what he knows. This is just a quick post to let you guys know about a couple of shows coming up.
Vitamin X are from Holland and are a great straight edge hardcore band. Parysytic hail from Virginia and are one of the best bands out there today. If you want to here something by them, here is their demo.
Parasytic are also playing three dates at Kattacombes and one at the Thrash Can in Burlington. Support them if you can.....

Also for those of you who liked the Upright Citizens albums,here is the original version of the song "Holocaust" by Crisis.
Can anyone tell me about The Thrash Can in Burlington, i've never heard of it???????????????????

Suburban Showdown

The first post for a local band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have Suburban Showdown from Dover,NH. They are a 3 piece and they play epic, galloping D-Beat that kind of reminds me of a cross of England's Hellkrusher and Montreal's Born Dead Icons. These are a couple of songs off their forthcoming split LP with Distress from the Soviet Union. They are "Another Tree,Another Dollar","Shows ruined by Thugs",and "Society" You can sample these songs here.
This should be out by the end of this year or the beginning of 2009. When it comes,you can contact Tino(their Drummer and Bassist for Jonee Earthquake Band)at Subterranean Records.
Suburban Showdown also has a split ep with Brazil's very own Besthoven.
